In some cases, a will is put into probate. This usually occurs of the will is contested
or there is some reason to believe that the will is not legal and valid. In the
case of the deceased having a large estate and many beneficiaries, the will is put
into probate and becomes part of the probate process supervised by the court.
Additionally, probate is often used when the deceased is without
a will.
