The duties of the executor of a will are many including dealing with the financial obligations of the deceased’s estate such as the payment of taxes and the satisfaction of creditors.

The executor also attends legal matters such filing the proper documents with the state, determining legal heirs, contacting those who need be present for the reading of the will and protection the assets of the deceased’s estate.
