Contested wills are generally put into question by a suing party
who doubts the legality, legitimacy or intent of the will. These
wills are closely examined by the attorneys for both parties (in
most cases line by line) to determine if the suing party’s claims
are valid.
In many cases, a contested will
is entered into probate where a court aids in determining the
legitimacy and legality of the will.
