Manly –v- The Public Trustee of Queensland & Anor
We acted for Ronald, Gary and Dennis Manly, the sons of the
Deceased. The Deceased's second wife, Louella Manly brought an
Application before the Court seeking further provision from the
Deceased's estate. On behalf of our clients, we defeated the
Applicant's claim and protected our client’s inheritance both at
the original Supreme Court Trial and in the Court of Appeal.

Donovan –v- Donovan
This was an Application to the Supreme Court brought by our
client, Lynda Donovan in her capacity as Executor of her
Father's Estate. The Respondent to the Application was Helga
Donovan, the other Executor of her Father's Estate. Our client
was unable to agree with her Co-Executor in relation to the
payment of the Deceased's superannuation and the Court
Application was required to settle the issue.

Lamond –v- Public Trustee of Queensland & Ors
We acted on behalf of the Litigation Guardian for Oliver Lamond.
Mr Lamond was a beneficiary under his Grandmother’s Will. Both
his Mother and his Uncle brought claims in the Supreme Court for
further provision from the Estate. His Mother stopped her claim.
His Uncle’s claim succeeded but we were successful in ensuring
that Mr Lamond’s inheritance was not reduced by his Uncle’s
claim.
